Ambilight: A Light and Elegant Beauty Clinic Design

Creating a Delicate and Relaxing Treatment Environment

From the light strip on the ceiling to the curved facade behind the reception counter, Ambilight exudes a simple yet irreplaceable sense of fashion. The interlaced beams of light generated by the counter's reflection on the ground add to the overall aesthetic appeal. The designers have carefully considered the target customer group, which is predominantly female, and have incorporated soft light and shadow effects to help patients relieve fatigue and relax.

The design of Ambilight showcases the hidden but ubiquitous sensual aesthetics that arise when light and dark intersect delicately. The curved reflection of light creates a visually captivating experience throughout the space. The private makeup area, equipped with a long mirror cut with a light strip, enhances the sense of measurement and adds a touch of elegance.

The waiting area in Ambilight continues the main concept of arc shapes, with curves running through the entire space. Wavy walls and white wallpaper, along with bright green sofas and coffee tables with golden elements, create a refreshing and inviting atmosphere. Mirrors are strategically placed on the ceiling, adding a sense of depth and visual interest. The combination of different materials in the design conveys a varied and rich visual hierarchy, aligning with the clinic's main concept of "beauty comes from nature."

Privacy is a crucial aspect of the design, especially in the diagnosis and treatment areas. Each patient requires a space of absolute privacy to discuss and receive treatment from the doctor. The diagnosis and treatment rooms are designed to be independent, with warm wallpaper and medical equipment creating a professional and welcoming atmosphere. This allows patients to receive treatment in a relaxed and private environment.

Ambilight was completed in January 2022 in Taipei City, Taiwan. The design team at GLOBAL INTERIOR A DESIGN CO.,LTD meticulously researched and overcame various challenges to create a comfortable and sophisticated environment for this medical beauty clinic. The result is a space that combines functionality, aesthetics, and privacy to provide an exceptional experience for patients.

Ambilight has been recognized for its outstanding design and creativity. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2023. This prestigious accolade is bestowed upon designs that demonstrate ingenuity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to improving quality of life through art, science, design, and technology.
